Who I am and what I provide:

My name is John Mills and I moved here with my wife in 2018 after being licensed in Massage Therapy in both Minneapolis and Iowa.  I have an extensive educational background in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, pathology and even mental health counseling.

I work closely with other health care providers as it my believe that in so doing we are striving to improve your overall health in the most cost effective and shortest time possible.

I provide a Medical/Sports Hybrid massage utilizing stretching, cupping, and Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS) for treatment of scar adhesions, pain management and Vagus Nerve Resets (IF NECESSARY).  Unlike traditional "Deep Tissue/Relaxation" massages, I get to the root cause of the problem. It's not easy, nor is it fast. At times it can be a bit uncomfortable, but it should never be painful. I dig in deep into the tissues, I stretch your joints and tissues, while examining the whole person, not just your area of pain.

Unlike most other massages you have received, I perform a Range of Motion exam to determine a baseline for treatment.  All treatments are a minimum of 90 minutes with the exam included in that time frame. Sometimes I go over the time limit, I don't charge you extra if I do. Sometimes, it takes longer for the tissues to relax, and if you have the time, I should have too.

I recently completed extensive Continuing Educational training in Las Vegas, where I was introduced to new procedures to improve client overall health and wellbeing. I learned new orthopedic treatments for stuck shoulders, hip, foot & ankle injuries plus knee pain. I now own and have a very effective tool to assist in scar tissue repair, reduction in adverse surgery adhesions and the ability to reset the Vagus nerve (Cranial Nerve 10). The Vagus nerve innervates all your internal organs {stomach, heart, liver, lungs, intestines & kidneys}. It often becomes impinged due to injuries, illnesses, poor diet or just aging. The use of the MPS Neurostimulator can be an add-on to your regular massage or done separately.  Depending on the injury, it could take 30-60-minutes or longer depending on the length of the scar tissue. The MPS device is also quite useful for treating old injuries that are still stiff and painful and creating discomfort and inhibiting your movement.
